Dematerialized exams gain ground

Taking exams at home is still rare. The decree which makes it explicitly possible only dates from April 2017. Even distance learning has not yet generalized it. "We are faced with a paradox: we offer online training but we ask students, often scattered around the world, to come to university to take their partials. Absenteeism is in fact important, "underlines Pierre Beust, Associate Vice-President in charge of educational transformations at the University of Caen-Normandy, who, along with Sorbonne-University, is one of the pioneers in this area. To date, they are the only two French universities to be part of an Erasmus + research project on the subject.
